Your holiday begins with a warm welcome at Katunayake International Airport. From there, you will travel directly to the famous Cultural Triangle area. Sigiriya is known for its peaceful rural scenery, surrounded by nature, lakes, and wildlife. After your check-in, take the evening to relax, recover from your flight, and enjoy the calm village atmosphere.
Overnight in Sigiriya
Start your morning by climbing the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress, one of Sri Lanka’s top UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Walk through the beautiful royal gardens, see the famous frescoes, and admire the panoramic views from the top.
Later, enjoy a local village experience including a bullock cart ride, lake boat ride, and traditional Sri Lankan cooking.
End the day with a short climb to Pidurangala Rock to watch a breathtaking sunset overlooking the jungle landscape.
Overnight in Sigiriya
After breakfast, head to Polonnaruwa, the second ancient royal capital of Sri Lanka. Explore beautiful stone temples, Buddha statues, and the royal palace ruins that tell stories from over 1,000 years ago.
Then visit the Dambulla Golden Rock Temple, filled with colorful cave paintings and historic statues.
Continue your journey to Kandy, a cultural city surrounded by hills and home to many local traditions.
Overnight in Kandy
Leave Kandy and travel into Sri Lanka’s highlands — known for cool weather and amazing scenery.
Visit a Tea Factory & Plantation where you can see how real Ceylon tea is produced and enjoy tasting fresh tea.
On the way, stop to admire the gorgeous Ramboda Waterfall.
Arrive in Nuwara Eliya, also called “Little England” because of the architecture and climate. Enjoy a relaxing evening in this charming hill country town.
Overnight in Nuwara Eliya
Depart early for Horton Plains National Park, a beautiful cloud forest. Walk through nature to the famous World’s End viewpoint and visit Baker’s Falls along the way.
Later, take the beautiful train journey to Ella, known as one of the most scenic train rides in the world — passing waterfalls, tunnels, and tea mountains.
Overnight in Ella
In the morning, visit the highlights of Ella such as Nine Arch Bridge, Ella Gap, and Little Adam’s Peak (optional short hike).
After exploring Ella, travel to Yala, one of Sri Lanka’s top wildlife destinations. Spend a relaxing evening preparing for your safari adventure.
Overnight in Yala / Tissamaharama
Start the day early with an exciting Jeep Safari in Yala National Park. Look for elephants, spotted deer, crocodiles, colorful birds, and if you're lucky — the famous Sri Lankan leopard!
After the safari, travel to the south coast and check in at beautiful Mirissa Beach, where you can enjoy the sunset and the relaxing tropical atmosphere.
Overnight in Mirissa
Spend the morning at Mirissa Beach or join an optional whale watching tour (seasonal).
Then travel to Galle, a historic coastal city famous for the Galle Dutch Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with colonial-style buildings, ocean views, and charming streets.
In the evening, enjoy one of Sri Lanka’s most loved beaches — Unawatuna, known for soft sand, swimming areas, and a lively beach experience.

Travel back to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s capital city.
A short city drive can be arranged depending on your flight time.
